An easy guide to navigating the First Class experience
Today, we’re diving into a quick walkthrough of the First Class app, a powerful tool that makes managing your or your child’s classes easier than ever. Whether you’re using a branded or non-branded version of the app, the features are designed to streamline everything from bookings to payments.
Personalized Dashboard
When you open the First Class app, you’re welcomed by a dashboard showing your account details, including your enrolled students. Here, you can quickly check important class info at a glance—
- Class day and time
- Class type and location
- The assigned teacher
Everything is laid out clearly, so you’re always up-to-date.
Progress Reports & Assessments
Right beneath the class details, you’ll find the Progress Reports section. This area gives you a snapshot of how your student is progressing:
- Which skills they’re currently learning
- Their proficiency level in various techniques (e.g., somersaults, dolphin kicks, or breaststroke with hover hands)
- A record of past assessments
This feature is super helpful for tracking development over time.
View All Bookings
Need to see more? Just tap “See All Classes” to get a complete view of:
- Permanent bookings
- Casual lessons
- Make-up lessons
This is also where you can manage additional bookings.
Booking a Make-Up Lesson
If you have a make-up lesson token, you can easily schedule it through the app:
- Tap into the make-up booking section
- Choose your preferred day (e.g., Wednesday)
- Hit “Apply” to see available options
- Tap “Make Booking” and confirm—it’s that simple!
Once booked, your make-up lesson will appear right alongside your regular classes.
Managing Attendance
The app also allows you to stay on top of attendance. Open a class and navigate to a future date (say, Friday the 18th of April). You can:
- Mark yourself or your student as absent (this may generate a make-up token if eligible)
- Or mark as present to check in upon arrival
It’s a smooth and easy way for families to manage their schedules.
Payments Made Easy
The Payments section shows your:
- Total balance
- Paid and unpaid invoices
- Options to make payments directly via an online payment gateway
Everything is accessible right in the app—no need to chase down payment info.
Update Account Info
Finally, keep your contact details and family info current under Account Settings. You can edit:
- Your email address
- Mobile number
- Or details about your children
